Mindustry on the play canvas

16 October 2026 · protocol · 3 min read

Checked 16 October 2026 on the US English Google Play card for Mindustry, bundle id io.anuke.mindustry, developer name printed as Anuken. The short line under the title calls it an open-ended factory management game with RTS and tower defense elements. This note follows that card from the header down to data safety and stops where the card stops.

  1. Step 1. Record the header before the description

The header shows 4.5 stars from 139K reviews, the age line Everyone 10+, and the download band 5M+. The age line’s visible descriptor is Fantasy Violence. Beside Anuken the header does not print “Contains ads” and does not print “In-app purchases”. Result: those two badges are absent, which is not the same sentence as “the game has no ads anywhere”. The install control is the free install used on this card. A precise file size is not in the header, and neither is an app version, so both stay off this note.

The ratings block also prints bucket counts: 101,755 reviews at 5 stars, 9,420 at 4, 4,769 at 3, 4,173 at 2, and 8,824 at 1. Those five numbers are copied as printed. They are not adjusted to equal the rounded 139K beside the average. The average used on the easel remains 4.5.

  2. Step 2. Read the lines under the blurb

Updated on is 8 October 2026. Available on reads Android and Windows. The category word printed there is Strategy. The still on this page is the first screenshot Play served with that card, kept at its own ratio. The icon is the square mark from the same card. Neither image is a frame we drew.

What the card does not add, and so this step does not add, is a minimum Android version, a megabyte size, or a version history. A factory game can be large or small; the listing we opened did not say which, and a guess would be a second source.

  3. Step 3. Copy data safety and close the card

The Data safety summary says no data shared with third parties and no data collected. It does not, in that summary, list a permission such as storage or network. Those lines are omitted rather than inferred from the kind of game this is. Encryption and deletion sentences that appear on other cards in this set are not on this summary, so they are not borrowed.

The store link leaves this easel. The Play Canvas does not host the Mindustry binary, and Anuken did not write this note. If the header changes after 16 October 2026, the change belongs in a new dated check, not in a quiet rewrite of this one.

What to expect on the store page is the same header we filed: a strategy card, a 4.5 average, a 5M+ band, Everyone 10+ with Fantasy Violence, and a data-safety summary that says nothing is shared and nothing is collected. Anything beyond that is outside this check.
